Job Summary
Applies professional programming concepts for small to medium-sized projects or portions of larger projects. Resolves a variety of programming design and implementation issues. Works on programming assignments of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. Department Description
The Department of Radiation Oncology, School of Medicine (SOM), is responsible for a broad range of patient care, teaching, research and public service responsibilities. The Department provides medical students, residents, and post-doctoral fellows in the School of Medicine with programs in research, patient care, teaching and public service.
The Department is comprised of three locations including Mt. Zion, Parnassus and Mission Bay and consists of 33 full-time faculty, eight researchers, 13 clinical residents and three physics residents.
These operations are administered through various dispersed, interdependent sub-units, which are coordinated through a centralized Administrative Core.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training Minimum of 1 year of related experience Experience with common programming tools. Knowledge of secure software development. Intermediate skills associated with the design, development, modification and deployment of software, including object-oriented programming concepts. Knowledge of other IT related areas. Demonstrated software repository skills. Demonstrated ability to follow software specifications. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization. Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines. Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Understanding of the concepts underlying relational databases Understanding of non-relational data such as xml, json, csv Strong Knowledge of string manipulation Basic knowledge of Visual Studio , Visual Code or SQL Management Studio Basic SQL Langauge SELECT/FROM/WHERE statement Basic of SQL JOIN/GROUP BY

Basic SQL Langauge SELECT/FROM/WHERE statement Basic knowledge of regular expression match and replace operations Basic knowledge of TSQL string functions Knowledge of SQL CASE, @ variables,
