The posted UC salary scales set the base pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. See Professorial Series (Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, In Residence, Ladder Rank) and Professor of Teaching Series - Health Sciences Compensation Plan. This position includes membership in the

health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position description

The University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, Department of Urology, anticipates a position in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series.

Criteria for the Health Sciences Clinical Professor: The incumbent will be expected to teach fellows, residents, and medical students; provide patient care; contribute to scholarly activities; and provide public and University service.

Additional qualifications: (required at time of start)

Candidates must have a valid California medical license, a California fluoroscopy, and a DEA Certificate. The candidate must be board-eligible or certified.

Preferred qualifications:

Candidates must have demonstrated capabilities for teaching & professional service and/or research suitable for the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series.

The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical care of patients and supporting our mission of discover, teach, and heal at our main campus and community-based or affiliate clinical sites.

Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
