Overview
LMI is seeking a driven and experienced
Product Manager
to lead the continued development and evolution of
RAPTR
(Rapid Analysis and Prototyping Toolkit for Resiliency)-our AI/ML-powered platform that helps organizations rapidly explore and assess mission scenarios, identify operational risks, and model complex decisions. As Product Manager, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for RAPTR, working closely with engineering, data science, mission analysts, and government stakeholders. This is a critical role that requires strong product leadership in analytics and mission-focused environments, particularly those serving defense, national security, or federal agencies.

Responsibilities
Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for RAPTR in alignment with customer missions and organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams-engineering, data science, UX, program management, and customers-to deliver high-impact, technically complex features. Lead the planning and execution of product development across the full lifecycle, from discovery and prototyping to deployment and refinement. Gather requirements from a wide range of users and stakeholders, translating them into detailed product specs and user stories. Prioritize features and improvements using a clear, value-driven framework. Monitor product performance, user feedback, and mission impact to inform ongoing improvements. Ensure compliance with customer security, accessibility, and data-handling requirements, especially in government contexts. Communicate product plans, updates, and priorities clearly across internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Ability to obtain a federal security clearance; in order to obtain a federal security clearance, a U.S. Citizenship is required. Minimum 5 years of experience
in product management with a focus on software products. Prior experience managing
analytics, modeling/simulation, or decision-support software . Demonstrated success in a
commercial or federal contracting environment , ideally with mission-driven products. Understanding of
FedRAMP, security, or compliance frameworks in government systems. Familiarity with
government or defense use cases , including scenario planning, wargaming, or operational analysis. Strong understanding of Agile software development and cross-functional collaboration. Exceptional communication and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance technical depth and user empathy. Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and product analytics platforms. Applicants selected for this position may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. For this position, LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience delivering software for
federal agencies, DoD, or national security Background in
