Position Summary:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the product build is done in an efficient manner that meets the customer's quality expectations. This is a salary position and will require you to report to work onsite.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Must have In-depth knowledge of highly technical engineering principles and processes

Must know how to apply Engineering knowledge and related codes and standards in

analyzing and developing effective assembly systems, generating specifications, and delivering technical presentations to clients

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent

Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

ASQ - CQE Preferred

Lean/Six-Sigma Black belt or Green belt a plus

Are You Our Next ACE?

Lead & Conduct Process and Workmanship trainings (i.e. IPC-620, J-STD, NASA) as required by management

Work with Process Engineers to develop process instructions, inspection plans, and Quality plans, and incorporate them into process travellers

Daily and weekly goals and metrics developments

for production and quality inspection, and testing

Communicating the Customer technical requirements (i.e. workmanship specifications) through the organization

Directly responsible for NCMR and Corrective action review and analysis, and disposition using 5Why and Fishbone diagram, Root Cause Analysis-weekly metrics

Involvement in Internal Auditing-may require outside training if not a trained Internal Auditor, and manage the QMS documentation

Manage the Calibration program and interface with the safety and facilities manager, with the Preventive Maintenance program

Actively participate, manage, and oversee the efficient creation/interpretation of electrical test programs, and interface with QC Testing team

Backup Quality ECN review

Represent the Quality Department for Customer CAR and/or Customer audits

Assist Director of Quality in preparation and analysis of Labor and Material Variances

Monitor supplier performance, and work with Purchasing and Supply chain on development of Quality Clauses

Other duties as assigned
