The Sourcing Analyst will provide general sourcing support within the Indirect Sourcing team. The Analyst will focus primarily on IT as a Sourcing category, collaborating with internal IT teams and external suppliers. They may also provide support on other Indirect Sourcing categories, including Marketing, Fleet Services, HR, Temporary Labor, and Office Products. To be successful, the incumbent will build and develop strong relationships with business stakeholders by providing supplier options, competitive bidding, price and term negotiation, and contracting.

The Sourcing Analyst will work closely with the Manager and the Indirect Senior Sourcing Analyst on tasks such as RFPs (Requests for Proposals), analytics, tracking, renewal management, invoice guidance, and policy and compliance monitoring.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Sourcing

Build internal stakeholder relationships across assigned Indirect categories

Maintain active awareness of the supplier market

Schedule and facilitate capability calls with suppliers as required

Provide support to internal stakeholders as they confirm sourcing requirements and support in helping determine sourcing strategies and options

Develop RFIs and RFPs

Engage suppliers for bids and proposals, review responses, and make recommendations to stakeholders

Perform cost modeling, negotiate pricing, and support the contracting process

Supplier Management

Support supplier onboarding

Support supplier implementations

Support internal stakeholders and suppliers should performance issues emerge.

Manage renewals and renegotiations

Policies, Processes, and Reports

Socialize and drive compliance with Sourcing & Procurement Policy

Follow Purchasing and Approval workflows where required

Develop category plans as needed

Manage spend and generate savings reports

Special Projects

Assist or lead on broader Sourcing initiatives as requested

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

3 - 5 years working within a fast-paced Supplier Management, Sourcing, or Procurement team.

Working knowledge of Indirect Sourcing categories with a strong emphasis on IT

Researching to discover, vet, and analyze new potential vendors and sourcing options

Managing multiple projects simultaneously

Budgeting or cost accounting is a plus

Developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

Overseeing development of RFPs (Requests for Proposals): obtaining, analyzing, and communicating competitive quotes.

Manages negotiations for all terms with suppliers.

Formal education or equivalent experience.

Relevant degree or professional certifications in any area within Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or Procurement are desirable.
