POSITION SUMMMARY

:

The Regional Service Manager of Electrical Power Systems division provides day-to-day leadership of CPG's Electrical Power Systems service team.

The manager ensures the safety and competency of his/her team to provide the highest levels of installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mission critical electrical equipment.

The managers ensure smooth and efficient delivery of critical facility services by leading and training adequate job planning, integrating Operational Risk Management into all work activities, and coordinating procedures that ensure that the client expectation is met every time. Managers are the primary safety and competence leaders for our teams and drive our company culture.

Provides effective oversight, leadership and administration of safety processes and procedures.

Responsible for overseeing and leading the work of the Electrical Power System (EPS) team.

Responsible for planning and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of CPG technicians.

Responsible for inter-team logistical and labor coordination as necessary.

Maintains a high quality of service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Accomplishes staff management by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.

Create and inspire team environment with an open communication culture.

Delegate tasks and set deadlines.

Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.

Perform site walks and estimating of potential new work.

Identify and analyze project deficiencies; formulate and document plans of action which ensure future deficiencies are eliminated.

Review and approve weekly timesheets.

Create MOPs, SOPs, EOPs and other technical reports and procedures.

Ensure operational, maintenance and emergency methods of procedure (MOPs) are strictly used.

Be familiar with all applicable Federal, State, and local rules, codes, and regulations.

Travel to additional locations (20 percent)

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.

Train, influence and motivate team members.

Other assigned tasks as requested.

Education/Experience (Desired):

Associate's degree in electronics, electrical theory or similar discipline, or equivalent work experience

Bachelors' degree in similar disciplines preferred.

Military training is an acceptable equivalent to a formal degree.

Experience with critical power equipment, including UPS, switchgear, batteries, monitoring equipment, generators, etc.

Experience writing JHAs, MOPS, technical reports and procedures.

Computer Skills:

Knowledge and experience using basic Computer skills including MS Office

PowerDB

Certificates and Licenses:

OSHA 30 certification (preferred)

NICET or NETA level III or IV (preferred)

Must be able to pass government background checks, attain and maintain a federal security clearance and gain access to facilities that require proof of vaccination status (i.e. Covid-19 vaccine/booster).

IR certification.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises employees in Electrical/SWGR Services Group. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Pay Range:

$110,439 - $165,691 per year
