Travel Contract Position Overview:
Marquette General Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for a night shift travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment. Responsibilities: Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, administer medications, and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Respond to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control procedures Qualifications: Active RN license in Michigan or compact state Minimum of 2 years recent experience in PCU or step-down units Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
