Position Summary: The Mailroom & Office Services Associate is responsible for supporting daily mailroom and office service operations. This role involves handling incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining office supply inventories, and assisting with facility-related tasks to ensure an efficient and professional work environment.
Responsibilities:
Process incoming and outgoing mail, including operating postage machines and preparing overnight packages (UPS, FedEx, DHL).
Deliver accountable mail and packages to appropriate recipients.
Monitor and maintain conference rooms to ensure they are organized, set up, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Relocate and monitor shredder bins; escort shredding vendors as required.
Restock convenience copiers with toner, paper, and other supplies.
Check and restock office pantries.
Hang posters and signage as directed.
Process key requests and maintain records.
Assist with office moves and workstation setups.
Support auditorium setup for meetings and events.
Perform generator checks (training provided).
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–2 years of mail services or office services experience preferred.
Knowledge of commonly used office and mailroom procedures.
Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor and "can do" attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Experience with UPS, FedEx, DHL shipping methods preferred.
Ability to operate mail carts, hand carts, and flatbeds.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Resourceful, self-motivated, and proactive in problem-solving.
