Travel Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery! Are you a dedicated and skilled RN ready to make a difference in a vibrant Labor and Delivery unit? We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in a dynamic hospital setting, contributing to positive outcomes for mothers and newborns. This 13-week travel contract offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise, work with a committed team, and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment. What You’ll Bring to the Role: Valid RN license with current certification Minimum of 2 years’ experience in High Risk Obstetrics Certification in AWHONN Intermediate EFM, ACLS, NRP, and BLS required Strong proficiency in high-risk OB procedures such as C-sections, twin deliveries, D&C, D&E, and massive transfusions Ability to handle high-acuity cases with a patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 based on acuity Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience with PASD (Placenta Accreta Spectrum Disorders) Familiarity with the use of Alaris Pumps and CADD epidural pumps Previous experience in a Level III Maternal and Level II Neonatal designated unit Preferred Education & Experience: Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in High Risk OB nursing Previous experience in a Level II Trauma or Neonatal Level II unit is a plus Other Requirements: No call required for this position Ability to work self-scheduling amongst a highly engaged, team-oriented staff Must be able to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Located at 901 W Ben White Blvd, Austin, TX 78704, within a well-equipped facility with advanced technology and a supportive team environment This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in a collaborative, award-winning unit that values innovation, staff development, and outstanding patient care.
