Schedule Notes: • Interview or Auto Offer: Interview # of Openings: 1 Contract Length: 13 weeks Interview Preference: Manager will call candidates directly • Location: 1 Genesys Pkwy Unit: Emergency Department (Float Pool) Facility Details: Union facility Level 2 Trauma Center Float position staffed every 4 hours May be pulled to ED and ED Observation only Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of recent and relevant Emergency Department experience required Patient Ratio: 1:5, may increase depending on case load Certification/Licensure Required: ACLS – Required BLS – Required Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing • Required Preferred/Nice-to-Have Certifications: TNCC ENPC or PALS NIHSS
Duties: Job Summary: • Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. • Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. • Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. • Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Skills: Required Skills & Experience: • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned. • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Education: Required Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
