The Sabre UX Design team creates compelling, consistent, and highly usable experiences for the travel industry. We approach our projects with high standards, utilizing best practices to deliver consumer-grade user experiences.
This position offers a broad range of design challenges sure to stretch your creativity and hone your talents. You'll apply your interaction design skills as part of a growing team of dedicated UX design professionals, working with developers and product managers to create innovative products across our portfolio.
What you'll do:
· Collaborate with other UX team members, product managers and development teams to define user goals and requirements.
· Conduct or analyze research to understand the product, the user, business need and market opportunities.
· Create design concepts that achieve stated user goals and business objectives.
· Learn, integrate and leverage our enterprise design library, aligning your project work with Sabre's design standards for usability, accessibility and functionality.
· Produce interactive prototypes for design validation, aligning with project requirements and internal best practices for application development.
· Work on assigned products/features within a team environment and take on progressively more challenging opportunities as you demonstrate success in your assignments.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in design field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience:
· 5+ years of design and prototyping experience
· Experience with complex applications such as financial services, business to business tools or e-commerce type products is preferred
· Experience in a fast-paced software development environment such as Agile
· Experience designing and developing across multiple form factors (mobile, tablet and desktop)
· Familiarity with design thinking principles and methodologies
· Experience with UX design tools; Figma is preferred.
· Front-end coding experience is a plus but not required
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Must be a self-starter, willing to dig in, work hard and meet commitments
· Proficient in English, both written and verbal
