ABOUT THE ROLE

Duro-Last Roofing, the world's largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has an opening for a Maintenance Clerk at their Saginaw, MI headquarters. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and proficiency in office software. This is an in-office position that will report to the Maintenance/Facilities Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Frequent support to the facilities and maintenance department

Manage administrative tasks: filing, answer phones, assist with various clerical tasks

Process work orders, maintain inventory of parts and supplies

Assist with generating reports on maintenance activities

Perform coordination with technicians and vendors

Consistent data entry, record keeping, and create purchase requests

Ensure proper organization and the timely delivery of parts and services for maintenance department

Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations

Maintain records related to equipment maintenance and inspections

Other duties as assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

High School diploma or GED

Vocational training or certifications in maintenance or facility management

Relevant experience in a clerical or maintenance- related position

The physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; standing/walking for extended periods

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Capable of prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all documentation and data entry

Keyboarding skills to include proficiency in Word, Excel, CCMS, etc.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Strong problem- solving abilities with a proactive approach to challenges

Great customer service skills to interact effectively with colleagues, contractors, and the public

Overtime as needed
