We are seeking a highly capable and driven Systems Development Engineer to join our technology team. The Systems Development Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable and secure infrastructure solutions to support critical business applications and services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in systems engineering, software development, and automating IT operations. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure system architectures. Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of system infrastructure. Develop and maintain custom tools and scripts to support operations and engineering teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between application and infrastructure layers. Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network issues. Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance requirements. Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and recommend improvements. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on systems, configurations, and procedures. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 2+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure development. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Ruby, Bash). Strong experience with Linux/Unix and/or Windows systems administration. Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Solid understanding of networking, security, and virtualization concepts. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Excellent analytical and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Background in CI/CD pipeline development and management. Knowledge of database administration (SQL/NoSQL). Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
