Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of 8 different production lines within our facility. You will work primarily with extrusion machines, conveyors, and vacuum pumps. Your expertise in troubleshooting, rewiring motors, and electrical systems up to 480 volts is essential. Experience with PLCs is highly advantageous, but electrical experience is paramount.
Responsibilities

Maintain and repair extrusion machines, conveyors, and vacuum pumps.

Troubleshoot and rewire motors and electrical systems up to 480 volts.

Utilize schematics for effective troubleshooting and repairs.

Ensure the operational efficiency of production lines by performing regular maintenance tasks.

Collaborate with the team to uphold safety standards as a top priority.
Essential Skills

Strong electrical experience, particularly with motors and systems up to 480 volts.

Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues.

Experience working with conveyors.

Ability to read and interpret schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with PLCs is a significant advantage.

Familiarity with welding techniques is beneficial.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract-To-Hire position based out of Bakersfield, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
