The Sortation Supervisor oversees the daily sortation operations, ensuring that the team works efficiently and accurately to meet operational goals. This role involves directing the associate team, managing workflow, and resolving on-the-floor issues. What you'll do:
Direct and guide a team of associates during the sortation process. Monitor the flow of packages to ensure all deadlines are met. Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack for moving and staging pallets Train new associates on proper sorting and scanning procedures. Troubleshoot issues with equipment or package mis-sorts. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Report daily progress and issues to the Manager. Ensure safety protocols are followed and in place before and during sortation.
What you'll need:
2+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar operational environment. Proven leadership or supervisory experience. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning technology. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
