Maintenance Electrician
This individual will install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment by performing the following duties:
- Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as conveyors and programmable controllers.
- Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment.
- Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replace damaged or broken wire and cables.
- Test malfunctioning machinery and discuss malfunctions with the maintenance manager.
- Replace faulty electrical components on machines such as relays, switches, motors, position sensing devices, AC/DC Drives, and PLC components.
- Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
- Replace electric motor bearings, brushes, and rewire motors for installation.
- Plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings in accordance with NEC.
- Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment as necessary.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Competency in installing and wiring electrical systems.
- Familiarity with 480v systems and high voltage work.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical components.
- Experience with preventive maintenance of industrial machinery.
- Skilled in using multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 3 to 5 years of experience preferred.

This is a Permanent position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
The pay range for this position is $78041.60 - $78041.60/yr.
