Electrician Helpers - Orange, Texas (Job Number: 633421)

As an Electrician Helper for our PICCo GTTP Project in Orange, Texas, you will contribute to our team by:

• Assist Journeyman and work closely with other crafts as needed
• Works outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Safe use of hand and power tools
• Works around hazardous wiring.
• Measures, cuts, bend, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit using rulers, hand tools, power tools.
• Splices wires using hand tools, soldering equipment, tape or terminal gaps.
• Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools.
• Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.
• Unwinds and pulls cable.
• Connects power cable to equipment using hand tools.
• Tests the installed equipment for safety and electrical compatibility.
• Must be able to climb vertical ladders and work above ground as necessary
• Pre-employment DISA testing Alcohol, U/A, Follicle and background
• Must have minimal of 37-47 months hands on experience in Electrical Industrial work as a top helper.
• Must be able to pass PCL Craft Electrical test if hired as a top helper
  
  

What You Will Bring To The Role

• Experience in the industrial electrical industry (petrochemical, power plant, cement plant) or related field, with37-47 months as a electrician
• strong math knowledge
• Insure electrical installation is per current applicable codes
• knowledge of the national electrical code
• pass pre-employment job requirements
