Summary/Objective


Experienced Electrician undertaking a variety of tasks related to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. Your job will involve installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts, and repairing appliances.

Due to the high risks associated with this job, electricians must be responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions. The ideal candidate should also be experienced with different kinds of electrical devices and systems.

The goal is to produce and maintain well-functioning electrical connections to minimize accidents and maximize usability of electricity in all facilities.

Essential Functions

  1. Execute electrical wiring plans for lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.
  2. Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems.
  3. Install safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels).
  4. Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring component compatibility.
  5. Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
  6. Inspect and replace old wiring and insulated cables, and clean circuits to prevent system breakdowns.
  7. Perform troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or replace damaged units.
  8. Proven experience as an electrician, with experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
  9. Ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter) and read electrical drawings and blueprints.
  10. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines.
  11. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  12. Good physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
  13. Diploma in relevant vocational training or completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
  14. Valid license to practice as an electrician.

Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of Safety Plans and Procedures.
  • Proven track record in construction work activities.
  • Understanding of construction phases.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in construction.
