Registered Nurse - Long-Term Care

Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift12-Hour Night Shift, requiring every other weekend and two of the four major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day).
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working with dementia patients and be comfortable floating to various units as needed. This role plays a critical part in providing high-quality care for patients in a rehabilitation and nursing setting.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and support to residents in a long-term care environment.
- Ensure patient comfort and monitor changes in their condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Active nursing license with required documentation on file.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Experience in long-term care (LTC) and prior travel experience is mandatory.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Ability to float to other units as required.
- Experience working with dementia patients is essential.
