RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment duration
• Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Patient ratio: 5:1 to 6:1
• 25-bed unit with all beds telemetry capable
• 1-2 years of nursing experience required
• Primary nursing responsibilities
• Required certifications: Indiana state license and BLS
• Required skills: IV starts, NG and foley placement, critical thinking, precise nursing assessments
• Care for patients with colorectal, bariatric, and general surgeries
• Provide care for GI, renal, telemetry, diabetes patients
• Perform wound care and ostomy care
• Must be greater than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Must submit required license, certifications, and driver's license with permanent home address
