IMU RN Night Shift Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, with assignments ending on Saturdays. Must be able to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays. The unit generally follows a schedule of 2 out of 3 weekends per month, but this may vary based on unit needs.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IMU RN to join our team. The patient population includes a mix of medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac IMCU acuity level, neuro patients, and CVA patients. Local candidates are welcome to apply. Only one assignment will be offered with no renewals.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to IMU patients with diverse needs.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant specialty.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Active VA or Compact License required at time of submission.
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of application.
