Position Title: Senior Millwright Mechanic

Description: HTI is seeking a Senior Millwright Mechanic in Augusta, Georgia for a global leader in sustainable chemical solutions for water-intensive industries. This company delivers tailored products and services to improve the product quality, processes, and resource efficiency of their diverse range of customers.

Shift is straight days 4 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday rotating to Tuesday-Friday.

What You Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Degree or certifications from a trade school or recognized training facility
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Experience with Pneumatic, Steel and Titanium Pumps, running plastic pipe and welding.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in industrial conditions (e.g., confined spaces, extreme temperatures, loud/dusty environments)
• Physically able to climb ladders, ascend multiple flights of stairs, and wear a respirator as needed

What Your Role Will Look Like:

• Monitor and maintain plant equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve equipment malfunctions and abnormal conditions
• Collaborate with operations personnel to resolve mechanical issues
• Prepare equipment for maintenance in accordance with plant policies
• Perform preventive maintenance including oil changes and lubrication
• Install, repair, and maintain mechanical systems including pumps, motors, valves, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic tubing
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components and machinery including changing out control valves
• Operate tools and machinery such as threading machines, forklifts, manlifts, scissor lifts, and golf carts
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a team-oriented industrial environment
• Utilize work order and permit systems, and adhere to proper disposal and recycling procedures for used materials
