Staffmark has partnered with a leading manufacturer in Rogers, AR, seeking a reliable Extrusion Machine Operator to join their team. This climate-controlled facility offers a clean, well-organized work environment and is recognized as one of the top employers in the area.
Pay: $18/hr
Schedule: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | 2-2-3 rotating shift
In this role, you'll operate extrusion equipment, ensure product quality, and help maintain smooth production processes.
Responsibilities:
Operate extrusion machinery to meet production standards
Set up machines using proper conditions and parameters
Use computer systems to monitor and adjust run conditions
Start up and shut down production lines safely and efficiently
Perform quality control checks and report issues
Follow all SOPs and safety procedures
Accurately complete production and shift documentation
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (required)
1+ year of continuous experience in a manufacturing setting (required)
2-3 years of machine operation experience (preferred)
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Basic reading, math, and computer skills
Able to read English and interpret numbers correctly
Good communication skills (in person and via email)
Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Self-motivated and able to work independently
