Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Operations Associate

to support our Market Data Services (MDS) team. This contract role will assist with daily operations, manage new requests, and contribute to various projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the financial industry, along with basic project management skills. Familiarity with market data business management and licensing policies across vendors is required (e.g., Bloomberg, LSEG/Refinitiv, S&P Global, FactSet, Moody's, ICE Data Services, FTSE Russell, MSCI, Intex, Morningstar, etc.).

This is

not a technical position .

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for incoming market data requests across the firm with urgency and organization to ensure requests are completed.

Monitor and assign market data requests from both ServiceNow and Team Mailbox.

Handle the majority of the request volume for license moves, adds, and changes (MACs) in line with contracts.

Perform administrative updates with minimal supervision, including timely input of TRG Spend updates.

Own the submission process for third-party risk assessment documentation for new vendor onboarding.

Coordinate and track vendor outreach for various inquiries and survey initiatives.

Qualifications

Foundational understanding of the market data space, with relevant experience.

Familiarity with market data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, LSEG/Refinitiv, S&P Global, FactSet, Moody's, ICE Data Services, FTSE Russell, MSCI, Intex, Morningstar).

Experience with TRG Spend, a plus.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work effectively within a small team as well as independently to deliver results.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Asset Management Industry.

Exposure to procurement processes.

Experience supporting or managing projects.
