Staffmark is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in El Segundo, CA! If you're detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to connect with you.
Pay : $24/hour
Schedule : Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (In office)
Position Type : Temp (3-month assignment)
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (An associate degree in accounting is preferred)
2+ years of accounting experience (experience with Business Central a plus)
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
Accounts Payable Clerk Responsibilities :
Process invoices and ensure timely, accurate payments to vendors
Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies
Enter invoice and payment data into the accounting system
Manage purchase orders, including tracking approvals and documentation
Maintain and update vendor records
Generate aging reports and manage vendor payments, including currency conversions
Compile and process annual 1099 reports
File or dispose of payables in accordance with company retention policies
Oversee the Accounts Payable email inbox
Provide backup support for other accounting functions as needed
Perform additional tasks as assigned

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
