Staffmark is hiring an experienced CNC Machine Operator in West Hartford, CT! If you have at least three years of CNC milling experience and are ready for a fresh start, join a collaborative team producing high-quality firearm components.
Pay: $32.17/hr
Shift: 3rd Shift | 11:42 PM - 6:42 AM | Sunday-Friday
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to engineering specifications
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
Collaborate with engineers and team members to optimize machining processes
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
Conduct routine maintenance to ensure smooth operation
Inspect finished products for quality and compliance
Troubleshoot machining issues efficiently
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of CNC milling experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
Strong knowledge of machine setup, operation, and programming
Familiarity with tool selection, speeds, feeds, and precision measuring instruments
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and math skills
