Position Title:
Instructional Designer
Work Location: Remote
Assignment Duration: 06 Months
Design and develop a variety of instructional materials, including e-learning modules, live workshop resources, manuals, guides, and assessments
Demonstrate proficiency in leading learning design tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Vyond and/or Synthesia, Canva, and similar platforms
Script and produce professional video content using advanced technologies for AI avatars, integrating multimedia with instructional solutions
Apply graphic design principles to produce high-impact visual content in alignment with branding guidelines
Image creation and editing tools (Canva/Ppt/Adobe tools, etc.)): Skills in designing visually appealing graphics, infographics, slides, and social media content. Knowledge of layout principles, brand alignment, asset management, and exporting formats for different uses.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to analyze organizational learning needs, define instructional objectives, and identify knowledge gaps
Implement training programs using diverse delivery platforms, and incorporate iterative feedback to continuously improve the learner experience
Evaluate training effectiveness by collecting and analyzing feedback and learning assessments, refining solutions as needed

Experience/Skills:
Expertise in designing and developing instructional materials: e-learning modules, live workshops, learning guides, manuals, assessments
Mastery of authoring tools: Proficiency in Articulate Storyline/Rise for interactive modules, scenarios, multimedia, quizzes, triggers, layers, and SCORM/xAPI packaging
Video production skills: Scripting for AI avatars, voice selection, video editing, using Vyond and/or Synthesia, integrating videos with learning platforms
Graphic design skills: Creating visuals, infographics, slide decks, and social content using Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite; strong layout, branding, and asset management knowledge
Needs analysis: Partnering with business/stakeholders to assess learning needs, define goals, and identify knowledge gaps
Collaboration skills: Working closely with subject leads and business partners to ensure training accuracy and engagement
Content implementation: Publishing, delivering, and updating training programs across platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, LMS, SharePoint) and gathering/pivoting based on feedback
Adaptability: Agile response to feedback-adjusting visuals, styles, course flows, content, and tools positively and quickly
Evaluation: Analyzing effectiveness through feedback and learning outcomes to optimize instructional solutions
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess the needs of the organization; Design effective intervention strategies that improve individual and organizational performance; Establish standards for training and performance assessment. Conduct education needs assessment; Develop curricula; Consult and apply advanced instructional design; Plan and design education/training material; Train instructors; Evaluate all aspects of entity training; Assess impact of training on job performance; Facilitate team interventions; Participate in internal audits. Introduces new training ideas into the organization, adapts new ideas and converts them into approaches that meet training/regulatory challenges. Leads projects, identifies scope and outcomes, motivates participants and leads project to conclusion. May oversee other instructors and their work. Works with supervisors/managers to develop plans, timetables and contingencies for performance improvement intervention. Participates in benchmarking and evaluates training effectiveness. Establishes measurement and evaluation designs and develops assessment instruments. Possible light management, team lead.
Education: BA/BS required.
Experience: 3-5 years of training/instructional design or related experience preferably in healthcare or other regulated field.
Key Competencies Required: Excellent project management capabilities, strong communication skills, strong conceptual abilities, and strong team orientation.
