Overview
LMI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maximo developer to join our team. You will be part of a team responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of federal facilities within the Washington Metropolitan area (WMA) on behalf of our government clients. This position provides subject matter expertise in Maximo development configured to meet customer business processes.
A current TS clearance required; candidate must be willing to work in Washington, DC Region.

Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for Maximo development activities for our federal clients'. Development activities include meeting with customers, understanding business processes, documenting requirements, conducting configuration of application, demonstrating revisions to customers, testing, and user acceptance. The JIRA process or similar documentation of requirements will be utilized. Specific duties include: Conduct requirements activities to include customer business processes and developing requirements documentation. Review development/configurations with customer and ensure acceptance. Review data from existing customer application and transfer data to Maximo; confirm all data is properly transferred Design, develop, configure, and customize IBM Maximo v8.11 modules (Assets, Work & Service Management, PMs, etc.). Implement and maintain workflows, escalations, domains, conditional expression manager, and Application Designer configurations Build and troubleshoot integrations using MIF, REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, web services, and scheduled batch, integrating with ERP, GIS, SCADA, and other enterprise systems Develop and deploy automation scripts (Jython/Python/JavaScript) and Maximo Business Objects (MBO) customizations Create and maintain complex BIRT reports and dashboards for monitoring and analytics Perform bulk data loads and migrations (assets, job plans, PMs, routes, work orders) Troubleshoot production issues and performance problems; perform system health checks and tuning Provide technical support, documentation (design specs, user guides, troubleshooting manuals), and training to end users Collaborate with cross-functional teams (facilities operators, managers) to translate requirements into technical solutions Ensure adherence to best practices in security, coding standards, Agile SDLC, CI/CD, and DevOps Coordinate with facility managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive assessments. Travel/work within WMA to conduct Maximo development activities.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience. 5+ years' experience in IBM Maximo (7.x or 8.x), with hands-on exposure to Maximo Application Suite/custom modules and recent experience with Maximo version 8.11 In-depth knowledge of the Maximo architecture: database schema, Application Designer, Workflow, MIF, Scheduler, and Security. Strong scripting experience using Python/Jython and JavaScript, as well as Java for customizations SQL skills with Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server and proficiency in writing optimized queries Expertise in BIRT report design and development Solid experience integrating Maximo via REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, and MIF Proficient in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in production environments. Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments, with tools like Jira, Git, Jenkins, Docker. Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Desired Qualifications 5+ years experience/expertise with Maximo application and recent experience with version 8.11 IBM Maximo 8.11 certification or IBM Certified Deployment Professional credentials (7.x/8.x) Background in utilities, facilities management, oil & gas, or energy sectors Experience with Maximo Scheduler, Work Centers, Mobile, Spatial, or Monitor & Predict modules Familiarity with cloud-native tech: AWS/Azure PaaS, Kubernetes, Docker, Red Hat OpenShift Knowledge of SSO, SAML, OAuth, RabbitMQ, ETL tools or iPaaS platforms Experience migrating from onprem to cloud-based MAS or with MAS 8.x upgrades Experience with federal facilities and familiarity with federal regulations and standards. Experience with Maintenance Connection, Tririga or similar enterprise asset management (EAM) software. Experience with BUILDER Sustainment Management System (SMS) Familiarity with website deployment using Windows IIS 10. Expertise with Microsoft SQL Server. Developer in Microsoft .Net Core and API usage. *This position requires an active TS clearance* Target Salary: $131,000 - 226,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
