What You Do:
Knowing how to read an insurance explanation of benefits so they can verify the claim was processed correctly and it was posted to the Matrixcare system correctly
Knowledge of insurance websites and how to look up a claim to determine if it was received and processed
Contacting the insurance company regarding unprocessed/unpaid claims
Understanding of what needs to be done to get claims corrected and submitted (if the claim was denied)
Basic computer skills to find information on the accounts that will be needed to make the telephone calls and make notes on account

Requirements:
Insurance experience.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
Professional and friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills.
Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
Familiarity with scheduling tools, document management systems, and office equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to support office operations.
