The expected salary range is $119,700 to $133,000, varies based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose Of Position

The Senior Data Analyst will report into the Digital Transformation Office and will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making. This position is responsible for leading advanced data analytics and AI initiatives to support Constellation's transformation projects. The analyst will use expertise in AI and data analytics to drive insights, enhance strategic decision-making, and foster innovation. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales leadership, product owners, and technical leads to ensure data is leveraged effectively to drive measurable business outcomes. The Senior Data Analyst will mentor junior analysts and collaborate with stakeholders to maximize project impact.

Primary Duties And Accountabilities

  • Lead the exploration and preparation of high-value datasets for use in AI and machine learning models, applying advanced data cleaning techniques to ensure accuracy and reliability for predictive analytics and pattern recognition.
  • Translate business problems into analytical requirements and partner with Data Scientists to design relevant features and input variables. Conduct in-depth exploratory data analysis (EDA) using Python, SQL, and visualization tools to identify trends, correlations, and data quality issues.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data availability and integrity across ingestion pipelines, and work with cross-functional teams to translate complex findings into actionable business strategies.
  • Own the documentation and definition of key business entities and variables such as customer, opportunity, and lead to support modeling and reporting needs.
  • Evaluate model outputs and recommend improvements based on quantitative insights and business logic. Create dashboards and analytical tools to help product managers, sales leaders, and data scientists interpret performance and opportunity areas.
  • Represent the analyst voice in agile planning, roadmap discussions, and cross-team reviews. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to support data-driven decision making.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to shared analytical standards and documentation practices, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Create dashboards and analytical tools to help product managers, sales leaders, and data scientists interpret performance and opportunity areas.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis and AI with demonstrated success in delivering strategic insights
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib), R, and SQL to manipulate data and generate insights from large data sets
  • Advanced knowledge of AI frameworks like TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or PyTorch
  • Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, or Azure-based analytics ecosystems
  • Proficiency in major BI and visualization tools, such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, SQL Server
  • Experience in machine learning algorithms, predictive modeling, and anomaly detection
  • Proven ability to clean, join, and analyze complex datasets from disparate sources (CRM, external vendors, internal systems)
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for conveying complex findings to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Experience applying B2B sales and marketing strategies to business use cases within the energy sector
  • Familiarity with agile workflows and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Confluence, or Git
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices
