We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the ongoing development of our MV2 manufacturing execution software. The ideal candidate is an innovative problem solver with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering tailored solutions. In this role, you will work directly with customers to understand their unique requirements, design and implement custom enhancements, and ensure seamless integration with our MV2 web application. You\'ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and technical support, to troubleshoot issues, improve functionality, and deliver high-quality solutions. Additionally, you will have opportunities to contribute to core application features, leveraging modern tools and methodologies to drive product innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help define customer specific requirements and service work orders.
• Estimate, design, develop, test, and release customer specific enhancements to existing manufacturing execution software.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of customer-specific modifications into the MV2 Manufacturing Execution web application.
• Assist our technical support team to troubleshoot customer issues.
• Write functional requirements, designs, and test plan documentation.
• Perform test plan development as well as application testing.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance engineers to ensure solutions meet our quality standards.
• When bandwidth allows it, work with the engineering team on Core MV2 features and enhancements.

Technical Skills

Must have :

• .NET Framework in C#, MVC, Web Forms, ASP.NET
• Entity Framework, LINQ, NHibernate

Nice to have:

• Azure DevOps, and Git
• Web Services/REST

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years web development experience.
• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to effectively work with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working directly with customers to define requirements and deliver custom solutions to fit their specific business needs.
• Ability to work and make decisions independently.
• Experience in creating technical documentation is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or machine integration is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically and develop globally optimized solutions that benefit all areas of the client organization.
• Eagerness to take initiative in learning and applying new skills.
