The HT Group is hiring: Warehouse Associate in Sulphur

The HT Group is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for our client located in Sulphur, LA. This is a contract-to-hire position offering $16-$17/hr. The standard work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, with overtime available during peak times. Drug screening will be required upon offer, conducted in Orange, TX. The warehouse is indoors and covered, but not air-conditioned. Sneakers and shorts are acceptable attire; steel-toe boots are not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping/receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise
• Match purchase orders to sales orders and route to sales team
• Move and organize materials in designated areas
• Sort and stock items by size, type, or product code
• Fulfill and assemble customer orders from stock
• Prepare orders for shipment or pickup
• Maintain accurate inventory logs and assist with physical counts
• Keep warehouse clean, safe, and accessible
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials
• Basic computer skills for inventory and filing tasks
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required
• Must pass a drug screening (conducted in Orange, TX) upon offer
• Must pass background - No felonies / violence / theft
• Must be reliable and dependable
