SVP, Product Delivery Summary The Vice President of Construction leads the delivery of data centers from concept through completion, overseeing a team of Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Schedulers. This role manages general contractor and vendor partnerships to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to Prime’s quality standards. The VP drives integration across design, construction, and operations, aligning sustainability, value engineering, and cost efficiency with corporate objectives. As Prime expands, the VP of Construction will collaborate closely with Development, Engineering, Finance, and Procurement teams to reduce cost and schedule risk, optimize product delivery, and champion change management initiatives that strengthen execution across new and ongoing projects. Build, lead, and develop a team of Project Managers and Engineers; oversee resource allocation, workflows, and contractor partnerships while fostering a high-performance, safety-focused culture.
Direct general contractors across multiple campuses and markets; manage project scope, schedule, safety, design review, and delivery from concept through completion.
Own campus CAPEX budgets, RFPs, and project authorizations; drive financial controls, forecasting, variance analysis, and contractor billing reviews in partnership with Cost and Finance teams.
Partner with Sales, Preconstruction, Procurement, Engineering, and Operations to ensure alignment on customer requirements, design standards, and technical specifications.
Support sales and client relationships by translating lease and project requirements into successful delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Lead vendor qualification, contract negotiation, and relationship management to maintain quality, compliance, and cost control.
Drive lessons learned, process improvements, and best practices to achieve cost and schedule efficiencies across all regions and projects.
Qualifications 10+ years’ experience in mission critical construction management practices and procedures Data Center experience highly preferred; construction management experience required Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent professional experience Effective presentation development and communication skills MS Office experience required, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel Salary & Benefits Competitive salary ($200K-$250K) and performance bonus program 401k fully vested upon enrollment, up to a 4% employer match 100% employee premiums paid by employer for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability Paid Time Off + Sick time Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis
