**Job Title: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift**

**Location:** Virginia

**Shift:** 12-Hour Nights

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position is for 12-hour night shifts and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have relevant experience in general medicine and surgical nursing, bringing compassion and professionalism to their practice.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical setting, focusing on maintaining and improving patient health.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Monitor patient condition and vital signs, documenting observations accurately and timely.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Participate in patient and family education to optimize care and recovery processes.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Support the onboarding of new staff and engage with nursing students as part of a teaching facility's operations.

**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing setting.
- Active Virginia or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Prior travel nursing experience is necessary.
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records is preferred.
- Must be flexible and open to floating to sister campuses as needed.

**Additional Information:**
- This position includes assignments that terminate on Saturdays, with orientations every other week on Mondays.
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position.
