Responsibilities Overview:

The Marketing Manager role at Ambition is a hands-on opportunity to expand beyond social media into a broader marketing scope—with a strong focus on email marketing as a growth driver. This role balances strategy and execution: developing campaigns that engage prospects, nurture customers, and contribute directly to revenue, while also owning initiatives in social, content, and internal enablement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Email Marketing: Develop and execute email strategies that align with business goals; write and design campaigns for newsletters, nurture flows, and customer communications; manage segmentation, personalization, and compliance best practices.
  • Campaign Optimization: Track performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions), conduct A/B testing, and apply data-driven insights to continuously refine targeting and messaging.
  • Content & Assets: Write and edit marketing content (blogs, one-pagers, customer emails) and create visuals/videos that support campaigns.
  • Social Media: Continue to manage Ambition’s presence on LinkedIn, driving engagement and community growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, customer experience, and marketing ops to align messaging and ensure campaigns integrate with HubSpot, Salesforce, and other systems.
  • List & Data Management: Maintain accurate contact lists, upload event leads, monitor growth/marketing inboxes, and ensure data quality.
  • Enablement & Events: Build internal resources for the sales and CX teams, and support event activations.
  • Reporting & Budgeting: Provide insights into channel performance and keep monthly budget tracking up to date.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • Strong writing skills with an eye for design and detail.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot (or similar marketing automation tools), Salesforce, and social media platforms (LinkedIn required).
  • Comfortable creating visual assets (basic design and video editing skills).
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to report on and act on performance insights.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
