Industrial Electrician - Manufacturing Plant (Union Site)

Oxford Solutions is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a direct hire opportunity at a union manufacturing facility. This role requires working rotating shifts (day, mid, and night) including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, replace, install, wire, adjust, and maintain electrical equipment throughout the plant
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, including Siemens controls, contacts, and control systems
• Perform electrical repairs and maintenance on cranes, furnaces, motors, generators, and other AC/DC equipment
• Work with multiple voltages, including high voltage up to 27,000 volts
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot DC crane operations
• Make mechanical repairs to cranes and related equipment as needed for electrical service
• Ensure safe use of tools, equipment, and testing devices in compliance with safety standards

Tools & Equipment Used

• Drill press, power saw, chain fall, burning equipment
• Portable drills and grinders, soldering equipment, pipe benders
• Electrical testing equipment and hand tools

Materials Worked With

• AC and DC equipment including furnaces, cranes, manipulators, motors, and generators
• Transformers, switches, circuit breakers, control panels, and lighting circuits
• Electrical wiring, conduit, insulation, and related repair parts

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience (school and/or work experience)
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, troubleshooting, and controls
• Experience with Siemens controls preferred
• Ability to work with multiple voltage levels, including high voltage up to 27,000 volts
• Mechanical aptitude for crane maintenance and related electrical equipment repairs
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends as scheduled
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
