Twin Lakes is seeking a service-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team at the Corporate office in Gainesboro, Tennessee. You will be the first line of support for employees, assisting with hardware, software, network, and related needs to ensure smooth operations, troubleshooting issues, maintaining IT systems, and supporting new technology implementations that keep our organization running efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Provide support, configuration, and maintenance of all hardware, software, and IT platforms.
- Perform daily system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of servers, hardware, systems, and key processes; review logs and confirm successful completion of backups.
- Apply patches and upgrades on a regular basis, upgrade applications as needed and configure or add new services when required.
- Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as needed, including configuration of CPU, memory, and disk partitions.
- Support cybersecurity efforts by promoting secure user practices and assisting with incident response.
- Work confidently with operating systems including Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.
- Apply knowledge of network and security protocols such as HTTP, SQL, SNMP, SMTP, and PKI.
- Work with applications and services such as Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policies, and file security.
- Analyze user processes and procedures to recommend appropriate, cost-effective systems.
- Read and interpret technical documentation accurately and communicate solutions effectively.
Qualifications
- At least a two-year technical degree in Systems Administration, Computer Programming, or Engineering. A bachelor’s degree in any of these fields is preferred.
- A valid and current Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate certification may be accepted in place of the degree requirement.
- If not already certified, must obtain this certification within six months of employment.
