OB/GYN Assignment with Flexible Hours in Indiana
This is an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Indiana for an OB/GYN to provide both inpatient and outpatient coverage. We have an immediate need for a physician to start this winter, but we can work around your schedule and availability. We are actively speaking to candidates now, and there are multiple openings. Practice Setting
- Work in a hospital setting with a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Support staff includes one RN, 1-2 MAs, two NPs/PAs, and fifteen office staff.
- See 16-18 patients per shift and average around 2,000 deliveries per year.
Schedule
- Choose from two schedule options, including both clinic-only and full-scope generalist.
- Full-scope generalist: 7a to 7a, with rounding from 7a-9a and clinic from 9a-4p.
- Clinic-only: 8a to 4p.
- All assignments include beeper call.
Procedures and Cases
- Required skills include routine and complicated deliveries, VBACs, c-sections, and repair of third and fourth-degree lacerations.
- Required skills also include office/minor gynecology, open and laparoscopic surgical gynecology.
- Rounding on all patients is required.
Requirements
- Board certification is required, and candidates must be licensed in Indiana.
- The facility will also consider physicians with an IMLC license.
- BLS certification is required.
Credentialing Requirements
- The estimated credentialing time is 90 days.
- The facility does not offer temporary privileges.
