We are seeking a skilled and reliable
Maintenance Electrician
to join our food manufacturing facility on the 3rd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure maximum uptime and safe plant operations. Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues including motors, drives, PLCs, wiring, and controls.
Support production by ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Install, inspect, and maintain electrical components in accordance with safety standards and regulatory codes.
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Follow all safety protocols, GMP standards, and food manufacturing regulations.
Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing; food industry experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, PLCs, and industrial controls.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues quickly and effectively.
Willingness to work 3rd shift (10 PM – 6 AM).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
