About the Role Our

Rifle Branch Library

is seeking a

passionate and service-oriented professional

to join our talented team as a

Library Assistant . In this role, you'll contribute to the community while fostering a positive, supportive, and fun work environment.

Library Assistants provide excellent customer service across all major areas of public library service, including:

Helping patrons at the information desk

Assisting with check-outs, holds, and returns

Guiding readers to just the right materials

Offering technology support for devices, computers, and printers

Connecting people with community resources

Creating engaging, eye-catching library displays

Supporting day-to-day branch operations

What We Offer

Part-time position (28 hours/week)

Pay: $20.31 - $24.69/hour (depending on library-related experience)

Qualifications

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent, plus one (1) year of clerical or customer service experience with technology proficiency (Microsoft Suite, Apple products, web browsers)

Preferred:

Associate's degree or higher

Highly Preferred:

Bilingual Spanish/English skills
