Job Summary: Educating and assisting our clients who have credit challenges that are preventing them from achieving homeownership. We will work with prospective home buyers to improve overall credit profile so that they may qualify for a Mortgage loan through M/I Financial and purchase a new M/I Home. Who we are looking for: Individuals that are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. Credit is important and we need people that can handle complex client service calls while displaying pride and integrity in our service. This career is for people that can handle complex calls, are great at multitasking and have a desire to go home each day knowing that they’ve helped our clients on their journey to homeownership Duties and Responsibilities: Work with applicant(s) to gather specific information related to credit reporting to assist them in working toward loan approval Prepare credit plan agreement paperwork Communicates with applicant(s) and/or creditors to resolve problems or questions regarding agreement information Process agreement documentation and properly manage recordkeeping Draft dispute letter removals for various credit bureaus Assist in rescore submissions inclusive of specific borrower information, documentation and explanation Assist in re-issuing of credit scoring Assist with special projects as requested and perform additional duties as required. Requirements Minimum Education Experience: Individual must have a high school diploma or GED and ability to pass pre-employment drug and background check. Skills and Abilities: A minimum of 1 to 2 years mortgage experience. Ability to read credit reports and a basic understanding of how to improve one’s credit scores. Proficient in Excel, Word, DocuSign, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Comfortable with high-volume Contact Center type environment. Comfortable with presenting information to small and large groups of people Work Conditions and Physical Requirements: Typical office environment. Some overnight travel will be required. Some weekend work will be required.
