In this crucial role, you will focus on improving user-facing features and functionalities shared across multiple product lines or teams—such as design systems, marketing experiences, and platform services utilized by various development groups. About the Role In this role, you will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams, merging technical depth with a robust user experience focus. You will actively shape the product roadmap in partnership with Product teams, aligning on shared experiences and services across the broader portfolio. You will work directly with Engineering to design intuitive experiences that cater to varying user personas and experience levels. By utilizing product and user data, you will facilitate continuous improvement through thoughtful planning and iteration. Engaging directly with field teams and customers will be essential for enriching product value and impact. As part of our digital organization, you will aid in mentoring and learning from a team of experts, fostering an environment of collaboration, quality, and innovation. Required Qualifications and Skills The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable design leader who flourishes in a dynamic, collaborative environment. You will have a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work effectively within high-performing, cross-functional product teams. The following qualifications are sought: 10+ years of experience in product design or user experience.

5+ years leading design projects, including experience in managing designers or teams.

3+ years of experience collaborating with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.

A Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

A profound appreciation for the full spectrum of design disciplines: interaction, visual, content, motion, and research.

A proven history of delivering products across platforms and regions, mentoring others through the process.

High proficiency with tools such as Figma, Miro, Usertesting.com, Dovetail, and other standard design and research platforms.

A strong portfolio displaying end-to-end thinking, critical problem-solving, and design craftsmanship across diverse work.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing.

A self-starter with exceptional time management, organizational abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications Experience identifying and establishing platform strategies, envisioning complex user interactions, and inspiring teams to push the boundaries of what's possible.

Ability to showcase design thinking and a high level of craftsmanship across various platforms.

Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in consumer lending, is preferred.

Location: This role is hybrid. You should be located within a commutable distance to one of our offices in New York City, NY, Wilmington, DE, Baltimore, MD, Charlotte, NC, Fort Worth, TX, or Irving, TX, with expectations to be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Salary: The target base salary range for this role is $140k - $160k, based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive compensation program based on individual and company performance.
