Overview

The candidates will be responsible for all functions supporting Electric Boat's Property Control System. This role manages Special Property assigned to various departments in accordance with contractual requirements to include Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.245-1 Government Property, and Electric Boat procedures. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: physical inventory, acquisition, movement, utilization, maintenance, receiving, identification, records, storage, reports and disposition of Special Property. This role will work with property custodians, managers, engineering, planning, purchasing, inventory management, suppliers, Government Property Administrators and others to status and process Government Property and resolve emergent issues. This role conducts internal audits to assure processes are in accordance with contractual requirements. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree

2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Planning, Engineering, and or Program Office with responsibilities involving order receipt and disiposition of product or property. Experience in using Excel and pivot tables to manage data Demonstrated knowledge of analytical techniques, administrative and management methods, budgets, and other administrative areas Willingness and ability to travel to perform property audits and conduct site visits when required. 50% travel between CT & RI sites. Travel to other sites based on business needs. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of government or business property administration work experience Basic knowledge of contract types, terms, and legal requirements Previous experience in regulatory compliance such as Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Prior military service or experience supporting government or federal contracting environments Skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills Collaborative and self-motivated with good business judgment Have the ability to work independently Have the ability to work in a collaborative team environment Possess strong planning skills Be able to make decisions independently
