As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees at a dynamic location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming and professional presence. What Youll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor access points, greet and assist individuals entering the location, and verify identification as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports. Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management as needed. Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to address inquiries and/or concerns. What Were Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and first aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
