Jr. Information Technology (IT) Support Technician Responsibilities: The Jr. Information Technology Support Technician provides first-level support and assists with the installation, configuration and maintenance of Luke Family of Brands hardware and software. This role is focused on troubleshooting end user issues, escalating complex problems and ensuring smooth daily IT operations. The Jr. Information Technology (IT) Support Technician reports directly to the Director of Information Technology (IT).

Jr. Information Technology (IT) Support Technician duties will include, but are not limited to: Travel to Company sites, as needed, for routine and emergency repairs including computers and point of sale (POS) at the registers and pumps Serve as a first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone, email and in person Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software and network issues Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and peripheral devices Assist with onboarding new users, including setting up accounts, emails and access permissions Log and track support requests in the IT ticketing/helpdesk system Escalate unresolved issues to Sr. IT Support Technician in a timely manner Support Microsoft 365, email and common business applications Maintain inventory of IT equipment, supplies and licenses Document troubleshooting steps, solutions and procedures for future reference Provide basic training and guidance to employees on IT tools and best practices Ensure compliance with IT policies and data security standards Maintain clear communication with users throughout the ticket lifecycle and document detailed notes in each ticket to ensure transparency

Experience/Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent At least two (2) years of Information Technology (IT) experience Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems Familiarity with Microsoft 365, email systems and common business applications Understanding of computer hardware, networking fundamentals and peripheral devices Ability to follow documented procedures and escalate issues appropriately Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Preferred Skills: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field Experience with helpdesk/ticketing system Familiarity with Active Directory (user account setup, password resets, permissions) Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addresses, DNS, Wi-Fi troubleshooting) Exposure to security best practices (antivirus, backups, safe browsing)

Hours: The Jr. Information Technology (IT) Support Technician is a full time position and works a minimum of 40 hours per week
