Key Responsibilities: Maintain the general ledger and oversee daily accounting activities, including A/P, A/R, and credit card reconciliation across multiple entities Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Monitor intercompany transactions and track “due to/due from” balances Collaborate on the annual external audit by providing necessary documentation and support Support budget planning, forecasting, and monthly reporting to internal stakeholders Manage and track grants and prepare financial summaries as needed Assist with filing of IRS Form 990s and other compliance-related reporting Oversee business insurance processes, including renewals and audits Contribute to payroll processing and HR-related financial duties in collaboration with the Controller Foster strong internal communication and encourage collaboration across departments for timely submissions and reporting
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 3+ years of experience in general accounting Working knowledge of QuickBooks or comparable accounting systems Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Teams, etc.) CPA license or progress toward certification is a plus
Additional Details: Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM Work Environment: 100% in-office Parking: Paid for by the employer
