Security Officer Patrol Specialist
in
Appleton, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent aerospace and defense location, you will play an important role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your visible presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring assigned areas, promptly addressing concerns, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and communication. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be tasked with driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. What Youll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, which may include areas associated with the aerospace and defense industry. Monitor for unusual activity or situations that may require security-related attention and report findings according to established protocols. Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site procedures. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activities within the location. Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required by site policies. What Were Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. A valid drivers license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
