Project Manager – Large Commercial Construction

Location: Denver, CO

An ENR Top 20 contractor is hiring a Project Manager to oversee delivery of large-scale commercial and institutional projects. This role is client-facing, highly collaborative, and responsible for ensuring success on projects $50M to $500M+.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project execution, from preconstruction handoff through closeout.
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, subcontractor buyout, and contract administration.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and resources optimized.
• Serve as the primary client point of contact, fostering strong relationships with owners, architects, and consultants.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress billing.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and reporting standards.
• Mentor and develop Assistant Project Managers and Engineers.\

Qualifications

• 5–10 years GC project management experience with at least one $50M+ commercial or institutional project completed successfully.
• Strong background in contract negotiation, cost management, and schedule control.
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, BIM/VDC tools, and scheduling software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
