The APM supports the project management team by helping coordinate and manage electrical federal construction projects. This position is ideal for candidates looking to grow into a full PM role while gaining hands-on experience with complex federal construction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with project documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Support submittal preparation, RFI tracking, and change order processing.
- Coordinate with field staff, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
- Help maintain document control systems and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Assist with procurement tracking, delivery schedules, and material submittals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in construction or project support role; federal experience preferred.
- Understanding of basic electrical construction terminology and processes.
- Familiarity with Procore, MS Excel, and scheduling software is a plus.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and support field operations.
