The APM supports the project management team by helping coordinate and manage electrical federal construction projects. This position is ideal for candidates looking to grow into a full PM role while gaining hands-on experience with complex federal construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with project documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Support submittal preparation, RFI tracking, and change order processing.
  • Coordinate with field staff, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
  • Help maintain document control systems and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Assist with procurement tracking, delivery schedules, and material submittals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in construction or project support role; federal experience preferred.
  • Understanding of basic electrical construction terminology and processes.
  • Familiarity with Procore, MS Excel, and scheduling software is a plus.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and support field operations.
