Job Title: Electrical Power Distribution Designer
Job Description
We are seeking three experienced professionals to join our team in supporting pole replacement projects in Texas. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the industry and offers the opportunity to design and layout electrical power distribution systems, update and modify existing systems, and ensure reliability and safety.
Responsibilities
- Design and layout electrical power distribution systems.
- Update and modify existing electrical systems to improve performance.
- Ensure systems are designed to prevent overloads and outages.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers and other professionals.
- Utilize CAD software and other tools for design and project management.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure safe operations.
- Track deadlines and project progress to meet timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in distribution design for pole reject/pole replacement projects.
- Minimum of 2 years of DDS experience.
- Experience supporting AEP projects is a plus.
- Entry-level positions may be available for candidates with an associate's degree or certificate in CAD.
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
